On the afternoon of April 14, Lieutenant General To An Xo (Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security) said that the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry, in collaboration with the Department of Cybersecurity and high-tech crime prevention and control, had just arrested Mr. Nhu Quynh (born in 1980, in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi).

According to General Xo, Mr. Quynh was arrested to investigate acts of abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, organizations and individuals, according to Article 331 of the Penal Code.
Dang Nhu Quynh is accused of using social networks to post unverified articles and information about a number of individuals and businesses in the fields of finance, securities, real estate, directly. infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of this individual or organization.
The investigating agency said that Mr. Quynh’s work showed signs of having a negative impact on the financial and securities market of the State.
According to Lieutenant General To An Xo, the Security Investigation Agency continues to investigate and clarify the criminal behavior of the people involved for handling. The Ministry of Public Security recommends that all acts of providing false and inaccurate information, causing insecurity and safety in the stock market and corporate bond market will be strictly handled.
In March 2020, the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention also worked with Mr. Dang Nhu Quynh to clarify the act of posting nearly 300 unverified and untrue articles about the Covid-19 epidemic. -19 in many localities.
