Previously, on April 4, Cuong went to Buom Hau area, Chieng Luong commune, and asked for a ride on a motorbike driven by HVV (14 years old, an 8th grade student in the area).
After waving a hitchhiker, Cuong used a knife to kill the victim and then robbed the motorbike. On April 11, people found V.’s body in the sugarcane field in Chieng Luong commune, so they reported it to the authorities.
According to the authorities, Cuong is addicted to drugs. The reason Cuong killed people and robbed property was that he did not have money to buy drugs, so he planned to rob the property.
