VN-Index dropped more than 5 points

The market recorded a decrease in large-cap industries such as real estate, construction; bank; securities… Many stocks in this group such as: CTG, TPB, BID, TCB, VCB or VHM, DIG, BVL are among the top stocks affecting the index. VN-Index.

At the beginning of the morning session, the banking group was quite active, but gradually towards the end of the session, the situation was somewhat divergent with a series of upstream stocks dropping slightly.

Banking stocks that dropped significantly included: VCB down 1.7%, TCB down 1.46%, TPB down 2.38%, STB down 1.75%, HDB down 2.5%, LPB down 1%. On the up side, VPB gained 1.28% in value, OCB gained 1.18%; ACB, SSB, SHB, MSB also recorded in green.

Similarly, real estate and construction group traded diversified with many falling stocks like DXG, VIC, HDG, HDC, SZC…, or at reference prices like VRE, TN1. In which, VHM decreased by 1.09%, NVL decreased by 1.73%, PDR decreased by 1.65%, DIG decreased by 6.29%, VCG decreased by 2.74%, SCR decreased by 2.6%… at BCM, CRE, LGC…

In addition, a series of stocks in the VN-30 group with red points such as VJC, POW, HPG, MSN… put downward pressure on the market.

On the other side, the market also recorded a breakthrough from oil and gas, retail, fertilizer, textile, and seafood stocks. Specifically, the retail group continued to have an impressive gaining session, a series of stocks gained strongly such as PNJ, MWG, FRT, DGW, PET…, only MSN and VNM were upstream stocks that lost points. light..

Notably, the oil and gas group became the focus with a series of strong gainers such as: GAS, PSD, PSE, PGC, ASP, PVD, PVS…; in which, CNG, PVC and PVB hit the ceiling.

In the group of fertilizers such as DCM, DPM, BFC, DDV, LAS; Coal like TDN, TVD, TC6, THT also attracted cash flow and gained quite well, some stocks were also pulled to the ceiling.

Earlier, world oil prices rose amid concerns about tight supply, as oil traders were expected to “shun” oil from Russia. This also reinforces the gain of the above groups of stocks.

Closing the session, VN-Index dropped 5.08 points, or 0.34%, to 1,472.12 points. The whole floor had 185 gainers, 271 losers and 45 standstill stocks.

HNX-Index fell 3.76 points, or 0.88%, to 423.69 points. The whole floor had 118 gainers, 102 losers and 54 standstill stocks. UPCoM-Index increased 0.11 points, or 0.1%, to 113.41 points.

Market liquidity continued to decrease with a total matched value of 21,040 billion dong; In which, the matching value on HOSE alone reached 18,503 billion dong. Foreign investors net sold again 218 billion dong on HOSE.
