Bubble and the most anticipated manga series on Shonen Jump+ in April

This April, Shonen Jump+ will start releasing many promising new manga series. This is an online manga platform, spin off from Shueisha’s Jump magazine line. In addition to the website, Shonen Jump+ also has a free reading application for readers.

In April this year, Shonen Jump+ will continue to launch many new manga, most notably Bubble, Marriage Toxin and Camellia Curtain.

Marriage Toxin – Mizuki Yoda

Artist Mizuki Yoda’s new series, Marriage Toxin, will be “debut” on April 20 of this year. Written by Jomyaku, the series revolves around con artists, professional assassins, and the world’s craziest “marriage hunters”. The main content of Marriage Toxin has not been revealed yet, but the manga’s theme promises to bring a new breath to comic fans.

Previously, Yoda and Tomohide Hirao had a work published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2017. It was a series called ne0;lation, which ended early in 2018.

Bubble – Erubo Hijihara

The popular anime series invested by Netflix and premiered this month, Bubble, will also release an official manga. The anime is slated to premiere globally on April 28, but the manga will be released a few days earlier, on April 22. As expected, cinemas in Japan will also premiere Bubble on May 13.

Right from the trailer, Bubble has left many expectations for the audience. The anime is set in Tokyo, after the strange rain of bubbles appears everywhere, bending even gravity. Hibiki, a parkour boy with a dangerous and arrogant lifestyle, one day fell into a gravity vortex and was saved by a girl named Uta. Who is this girl, and where do those bubbles come from? These mysteries will gradually be revealed throughout the anime.

Bubble’s manga will probably revolve around a similar plot, with a warm welcome from the fan community, although many people have yet to get a chance to see the anime.

Camelia Curtain – Kazusa Inaoka

Camelia Curtain is slated to release on April 29. The first images show that this could be a light-hearted but dramatic manga.

Previously, Inaoka also had a work released on Shonen Jump in 2021, titled i tell c. The manga quickly ended that same year. Another manga worth mentioning by Inaoka is Kimi wo Shinryakuseyo, which launched in Shonen Jump GIGA in 2018 and eventually serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, but also ended in 2018.
