Lamborghini sells record cars
The Italian supercar company sold 2,539 cars globally in the first three months of the year, marking the best quarterly business results in the company’s history.
Compared to the same period in 2021, Lamborghini’s sales in the first quarter of this year increased by 5%. 2021 is also the year that brings the best results for the company, with 8,405 vehicles sold, despite the pandemic and global chip shortages.
Lamborghini divides the world market into three strategic regions, and the best place to do business is called EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) with sales accounting for 40% of its total sales. The US market accounts for 32%, while the Asia – Pacific region is 28%. Nearly every market saw an increase in sales, except Russia.

The majority of customers choose to buy the Urus super SUV, with sales of this product alone accounting for 61%. Specifically, Lamborghini sold 1,547 Urus, 844 Huracan, and 148 Aventador. The Aventador alone has reached the end of the product cycle and will stop production at the end of 2021.
The product replaces the Aventador – a V12 hybrid supercar that is expected to launch in 2023. Before that, Lamborghini had plans for three new products right in 2022, including two versions of the Urus and one of the Huracan.
