The mid-range smartphone Oppo A57 5G has been officially launched with a super smooth screen, 5,000mAh battery and “soft” price.

Oppo A57 5G appears as a refreshed version of Oppo A56 5G. The phone is equipped with a new chip, more RAM, an upgraded screen. Overall, this is a good choice for users who want to own one smartphone 5G.

The Oppo A57 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 chip, the 6 nm version of the 700 chip with a slightly higher clock speed. The basic configuration of the device comes with 6 GB RAM (up from 4 GB) and a new 8 GB option. Internal memory capacity remains at 128 GB (UFS 2.2 for 6 GB RAM version, UFS 2.1 for 8 GB RAM version), with support for expansion via the microSD slot.

The phone is quite thin and light.

Notably, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 operating system / Color OS 12.1 user interface). The system can add 5 GB of virtual RAM.

The display is also improved – a 6.56-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate (up from 60Hz), however, the resolution is essentially 720 x 1,612 px. The monitor offers 100% sRGB coverage in Natural mode and 100% DCI-P3 in Vivid mode. Brightness is unchanged, 480 nit average.

Not much has changed in the camera department. Oppo A57 5G offers a basic setup with a 13MP camera (f/2.2 aperture) with a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP waterdrop selfie camera (f/2.0 aperture). Both the front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps.

The battery capacity of the device is 5,000 mAh, supporting 10W charging via USB-C. In addition to retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack, the product also has stereo speakers.

The 5000 mAh battery provides “buffalo” battery life.

Additional connections include: Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX HD and high-quality LDAC audio codecs, and dual 5G.
