All necessities are provided to the door by the local authorities.

Ms. Liu said: “I was also supplied with lamb, but I don’t eat this so I keep it in the fridge. I bought dumplings and corn as well, my fridge is small so I can’t store much. Look at it. On the contrary, I feel fortunate that during the time of the blockade, I am provided with this kind of provision.”

Contrary to Ms. Liu’s feelings, luck is a luxury for Ms. Chen. Her father had a stroke and now has Alzheimer’s disease. The blockade left her father with no medicine to treat, and Ms. Chen was like sitting on a fire. “I called for help but everyone said their unit was on lockdown, nothing could be done to help my father. Without medication, Alzheimer’s disease and stroke could put my father in a vegetative state. “.
