Phu Vinh was born in 1998 and is the tallest basketball player in Vietnam today. With an extremely long arm span, remarkable agility and flexibility, he is considered the number 1 striker as well as an important “key” in the current national team’s play.

Chris Dierker’s talent was confirmed at the NCAA student basketball tournament in the US with the Madonna Crusaders team when he was repeatedly named on the list of the best players in the US high school tournament.

Chris Dierker returned to Vietnam to play in 2018 and quickly became an important factor in the Saigon Heat club squad as well as in the Vietnam team. At the SEA Games 3 years ago, Chris Dierker impressed when he played prominently, scoring 12/20 points in the opening match against Thailand to help the national team win.

Vietnam’s basketball team aims to reach the final at the SEA Games at home
