VinFast integrates Alexa voice assistant into smart electric cars

Accordingly, VinFast will integrate Alexa services into the VF 8 and VF 9 electric SUVs, bringing an enjoyable, convenient and efficient experience to every journey.

The Alexa in-vehicle voice assistant is designed to continue and expand the Alexa experience at home with many of the features customers already know and love. Alexa in the car will have a range of functions exclusively for car such as vehicle control, navigation, parking, and a host of other functions designed specifically for mobility. Just ask Alexa, customers can control car functions such as interior lights, seat heating, cabin temperature, play music, listen to audio books, find directions, check traffic conditions, manage devices smart home and more while still being able to drive safely. New features and skills from Alexa will be continuously updated remotely (FOTA).

At the ongoing NYIAS 2022 exhibition at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, VinFast brings the VF 8 and VF 9 car models. Event attendees can directly experience some of the features in the smart service suite. Smart, designed to provide a more comfortable, efficient, and enjoyable user experience. This is also the first time VinFast offers a realistic travel experience on the VF 8.

Recently, VinFast announced the signing of an agreement to build the first factory in North America in Chatham County, North Carolina. The VF 8 and VF 9 will be the first two models produced at this facility. The factory project has an investment of up to USD 2 billion in phase 1, is expected to start construction in 2022 and will create thousands of new jobs.

The starting price in the US market for the VF 8 will be $40,700 and the VF 9 will be $55,500.
