VN-Index “evaporated” nearly 14 points

Most of the stock groups today fell very deeply. In oil and gas stocks, only PVC gained, PLX and BSR stood at reference, TOS had no transactions. All the remaining oil and gas stocks were in the bearish direction.

The group of securities stocks shared a downtrend, with red covering the whole industry, only a few stocks increased, while most of them fell. The strong losers were VIX and ART hitting the floor. VCI stocks fell 6%, PHS down 5.5%, AAS down 5.1%, APG and SSI down 4.8%, SHS and HCM both down 4.7%…

The only group of banking stocks with KLB increased in price, VBB stood at reference. All remaining codes are on the bearish side. Strong losers such as TPB down 4.4%, HDB down 3.7%, TCB down 3.6%, BID down 3%, MSB and MBB down 2.8%…

Real estate stocks were negative. The trio of Vingroup stocks, namely VRE, VIC, and VHM, fell from 1.1 to 1.7%. Small and mid-cap stocks in the real estate group also dropped in price.

FLC shares, after recovering on April 14, fell to the floor today. Specifically, FLC, AMD, ROS, KLF, ART all hit the floor; HAI also dropped by 5.8%.

The group of large-cap stocks was deeply in the red. Specifically, the VN30 basket had 21 losers, while only 7 increased.

Notably, in the context that most of the groups were in the red, insurance stocks gained strongly in the trading session on April 15. Specifically, BVH and MIG increased their range to the ceiling price. BICs up 6.4%, PVI up 6.2%, VNR up 5.9%, ABI up 5.7%, BMI up 5.1%, PRE up 4.5%, BLI up 2.2% .

In addition to the insurance group, the manufacturing group is also the bright spot of the market. The focus was on rubber stocks with GVR up 4.2%, DPR up 5.05%, PHR hitting the ceiling price. Many stocks gained well in the context of the general market’s decline, such as SAB up 1.02%, SBT up 1.12%, KDC up 1.13%, VHC up 1.95%, MSH up 3.16%, IDI increased by 4.09%, DHC increased by 4.43%; PTB, STK, and ANV all hit the ceiling price.

Divergence occurred in energy and retail stocks as GAS surged 3.14%; PLX stands at the reference price; while PGV and POW decreased by 2.7% and 5.47% respectively; MWG increased by 0.44%; PNJ increased 0.09%, but FRT decreased 0.48%.

Foreign investors were a slight net buyer today when they bought 97.24 billion dong on HOSE and 13.74 billion dong on UPCOM, while only net sold nearly 158 million dong on HNX.

Closing the trading session on April 15, VN-Index dropped 13.56 points to 1,458.56 points. Trading volume reached more than 659.4 million units, equivalent to more than 21,656.2 billion VND. The whole floor had 145 stocks of gaining, 321 stocks of decreasing and 38 stocks of standing still.

HNX-Index dropped 6.98 points to 416.17 points. Trading volume reached more than 70.1 million units, equivalent to nearly 2,153 billion dong. The whole floor had 61 stocks of increasing, 176 stocks of gaining, and 33 stocks of remaining steady.

UPCOM-Index decreased 1.05 points to 112.36 points. Trading volume reached more than 78.7 million units, equivalent to nearly 1,141 billion dong. The whole floor had 154 stocks of increasing price, 252 stocks of decreasing and 82 stocks of standing still.
