On April 16, Quang Nam Police said that it had just removed the place to buy, sell and organize the illegal use of drugs in a karaoke bar in Hoi An City.
Before that, around 3:40 p.m. on April 15, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department coordinated with the Hoi An City Police to administratively inspect the Truong Thinh 63 karaoke business (Cam Ha commune, Hoi An city). .
Here, the police discovered two groups of 12 subjects (5 men, 7 women) with illegal possession, organization and use of narcotics. In which, room 201 has 8 subjects, room 203 has 4 subjects.
Objects using drugs in karaoke bars
Quick test results, 12 subjects were positive for drugs. At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to buying the above drugs from Nguyen Van Hoai Thanh (SN 1998, residing in Thanh Ha ward, Hoi An city).
Soon after, the police executed an emergency restraining order and searched the residence of Thanh and one related subject, Dang Duy Chau (SN 1980, living in Thanh Ha ward).
Material evidence of the case
Through the search, the police seized 24 orange tablets (suspected to be MDMA ecstasy); 6 plastic packages inside contain white crystalline solids (suspected to be ketamine drugs) and many other related exhibits.
Initially, Thanh confessed that he bought drugs and then sold them to many people in Hoi An city and neighboring areas for use.
