Binh Dinh starts construction of a coastal road nearly 2,700 billion VND

The Cat Tien – Diem Van coastal road connecting Phu Cat district with Tuy Phuoc district, next to Thi Nai lagoon, with a cost of 2,674 billion VND, was started on the morning of April 16.

The route is nearly 14 km long, more than 20 m wide, has 4 lanes, design speed 80 km/h; 9 concrete bridges, 46 large box culverts and small drainage works with lighting systems, trees, and medians.

The first part of the road in Cat Tien commune, Phu Cat district connects the road of Nhon Hoi economic zone, the last part connects Diem Van urban area, Tuy Phuoc district (next to Thi Nai lagoon), expected to be completed in 32 months. Of the total investment capital, the central budget is 1,800 billion VND, the rest is local.

Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, said that the route is one of the large-scale traffic works, which is important for the socio-economic development of Phu Cat, Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat districts. of the province.

The completed project will meet the needs of travel, freight, trade between the two districts, exploit the potential land fund along the route (especially the area along Thi Nai lagoon); budget creation, contributing to the development of local tourism.

Before that, in March, Binh Dinh People’s Committee started construction coastal road connecting An Nhon town to the west of Thi Nai lagoon with nearly 9.4 km long, 22 m wide, 4 lanes, speed 80 km/h. The end point of this route will connect with the coastal road Cat Tien – Diem Van in Phuoc Son commune, Tuy Phuoc district.
