Catch a strange fish like… “baby dragon”

The fish that the 39-year-old fisherman caught in Norwegian waters is pale pink with a long tail. In particular, this fish also has feathers and fins that look like wings.

When Mr. Fedortsov posted a picture of the fish freak On social networks, there were immediately tens of thousands of comments and shares, most of them were shocked.

“I think it looks like a newborn dragon. It looks like a baby dragon!” – one commented, while another was surprised: “I have never seen such a strange fish. It looks like it only exists in mythology”.

According to British newspaper Independentthis fish is now identified as Chimaera – a cartilaginous fish.

This is not the first time Mr. Fedortsov, who studied marine science at the university in the city of Murmansk, northwest Russia, has discovered strange creatures in the sea.

In the past, Mr. Fedortsov has caught monstrous fish that look like “burgers” with teeth, fish with red lips like lipstick, some with unusual patterns, a fish with colored eyeballs bright yellow…

“All those creatures are beautiful in their own right. I can’t say they’re ‘scary’ or ‘ugly’. In fact, people are very interested in unusual sea creatures” – – Mr. Fedortsov told the Daily Mail.

Brother Fedortsov is also not the only one to discover strange creatures. In early 2022, a mysterious “alien-like” creature with limbs and a “reptile” skull washed up on a beach in Australia.

“I was dumbfounded when I saw the creature that looked like an ‘alien. I discovered it while walking on Maroochydore beach,'” said Alex Tan of Queensland.

Recently, a strange creature resembling an “embryo” was found on a street in Sydney, making social media users, including biologists, amazed because they did not know what it was.
