FLC Group’s 1,775ha super project in Binh Phuoc has been canceled with planning policy
According to Binh Phuoc newspaper, on April 14, 2022, Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tue Hien signed Official Letter No. 795/ People’s Committee-TH sent to relevant agencies, units and businesses on canceling the policy of making regulations. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee decided to cancel the Official Letter No. 3226/UBND-TH dated October 29, 2018 of the Provincial People’s Committee on approval of the policy for FLC Group Joint Stock Company to develop a project planning with an area of 986.5 ha and Official Letter No. 389/ The People’s Committee-KT dated February 18, 2019 on supplementing the boundary for planning a new urban area combined with a resort of Suoi Cam lake with an area of 1,775 hectares in Tien Thanh and Tan Phu wards, Dong Xoai city.

Besides, Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee also assigned Dong Xoai City People’s Committee to publicize and disseminate for people in the area to know.
Previously, on April 8, the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Phuoc province sent a document to the Provincial People’s Committee requesting the cancellation of the policy for FLC Group to make planning. Through the review, up to now, it has been more than 3 years since the provincial People’s Committee approved the project planning policy, FLC Group has not yet implemented it. Therefore, the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Phuoc province requested the Provincial People’s Committee to issue an official letter to cancel the previous two official dispatches.
According to the planning project, the new urban area combined with Suoi Cam lake resort tourism is located in the golden land of Binh Phuoc province, with a total area of about 1,775 hectares, located in the northwest of Dong Xoai city. The super project includes many items such as a trade and service center, a fitness center, a villa area, adjacent houses, ethnic cultural villages, a public center, a resort hospital. In addition, the urban area also has a complex of international convention centers, 5-star hotels and resorts combined with an 18-hole golf course, providing high-class accommodation and entertainment services. The project was once expected to significantly change the look of the area.
