Japan recorded a record decrease in population

Previously, data released on August 4, 2021 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, the population of this country continued to see the largest decrease since 2014.

The Japanese population also fell by more than 428,000 to more than 123.8 million, marking the 12th consecutive year of decline, with more deaths than children being born.
