The land has been sold for three months, the money has been transferred in full, but every time I repeat it, I still feel warm. Five years ago, when I was working abroad, my wife called to discuss, she said she wanted to use the accumulated money to buy a piece of land in the countryside. After more than two weeks, my sister-in-law informed me that the land had been sold for 3.2 billion VND. She took the initiative to do the paperwork for the buyer without me coming back. I think that price was beyond expectations, so I was not worried, even glad that the sale went smoothly.

When my sister-in-law transferred money to my account, I generously sent back 200 million dong to thank, only received 3 billion. My sister-in-law did not say anything, happily accepted the money.

About a month later, during a drinking session with a partner, I accidentally met the right person to buy my land. He also works as a mechanic, buying land to open a workshop. I was surprised but did not reveal relevant information. Ask to know, sister-in-law sold that land for 3.9 billion VND.

I told my wife about this and she was surprised, saying she didn’t know anything. I wanted to clarify black and white many times, but my wife always dissuaded me because I was afraid that my sister’s feelings would be dented. She used the reason that, thanks to her brother-in-law’s advice, we were able to buy that land, now it’s sold at a high price, and she makes a reasonable profit. But for me, no matter what happens, I do not accept this kind of flippant business, especially with relatives. Due to disagreements on this matter, my husband and I argued constantly.

It is true that technically, I do not have enough evidence to sue in court because the sale and purchase agreement is only oral, and the land documents are not in my name. What hurts me is, money lessons are received from family members, tuition fees must be paid with affection and trust.
