On April 16, information about crocodiles in West Lake suddenly appeared on the social network Facebook with an unclear video, accompanied by the content: “On the afternoon of April 14, I went out with my sisters, I saw this one in West Lake, I looked it up online, and I didn’t see a crocodile here, a bit confused.”
Particularly in the uploaded clip image, a dark object/creature seems to be emerging and diving on the surface of the water. This information quickly attracted the attention of the online community with many suspicious comments.
The video that appeared on social media caused a stir among the public.
The 8-second video was spread on a community group with more than 670,000 members, causing many people to feel bewildered. Some social media users think that this is just an object with a similar shape, easy to think of as a crocodile because West Lake cannot have this creature.
