5th grade male student in Hai Duong was killed by lightning while looking for a kite

Talking to PV GiadinhNet this morning (April 17), Mr. Tran Xuan Mang – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Lang commune, Tu Ky district (Hai Duong) said: “At about 11 am yesterday, in Dong Phong village. A tragic incident happened when an elementary school student was lightning strike was hit and died while searching for a kite. Currently, the family is organizing the afterlife for the grandchild and the local authorities have come to visit, encourage, offer condolences and support.”

According to Mr. Mang’s share, last morning, NNH (5th grader at Binh Lang Primary School), living in Chi Le hamlet, Dong Phong village, flew a kite, then he returned to eat. At noon of the same day, when checking, the kite was broken, so H. went to look for it in the field of Cong Cong. At the same time, it was raining with thunder and unfortunately, the male student was hit by lightning and died.

Upon receiving the information, the Binh Lang commune authorities sent a local police force to the place where the incident was discovered to protect the scene, report it to the Tu Ky district police and the authorities to conduct an autopsy. . After completing the necessary procedures, the authorities handed over the dead boy’s body to the family to take care of the aftermath.

Sharing about the above incident, Chairman of Binh Lang Commune People’s Committee added: “So far, in our commune, there has never been a case where a male student was killed by lightning while flying a kite or looking for a kite. and this is a heartbreaking incident that no one wants. I hope that everyone living in the area will raise their vigilance against such unnecessary injuries.”

It is known that H. is the youngest child in a family of 4 sisters.
