Not long after the repair was completed, the APG marine fiber optic cable had a problem.

Currently, the technical unit in charge of the cable route has not given specific information on the repair and troubleshooting plan.

It is known that in 2021, APG undersea fiber optic cable had many problems causing the transmission line to be affected. Specifically, on December 5, 2021 and December 13, 2021, respectively, the APG cable had problems on two directions of connecting cables to Japan and Hong Kong (China). After nearly 3 months of interruption of transmission service, on February 27, 2022, the APG undersea cable line was repaired, repaired and restored to normal operation.

Officially put into operation in mid-December 2016, APG has a length of about 10,400 km, located underground in the Pacific Ocean, with the ability to provide maximum bandwidth up to 54 Tbps. This undersea cable route has connection points in China, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
