Mr. Thanh, a pangasius farmer in Tien Giang, said that he had just sold nearly 2 tons of pangasius for 30,000 VND, earning a profit of 10 million VND. “If the above price is maintained, this year’s farmers will earn about 5,000-6,000 VND per kilogram,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lam, another farming household, calculates that this crop will earn a profit of 50 million dong when exporting 10 tons of fish. Next month, his family’s fish output will increase by 20 tons.
