2 sisters died when they invited each other to the stream to bathe

The stream where two children unfortunately drowned

According to initial information, around 1pm on April 17, two sisters, KTH (SN 2014) and KN (SN 2017, living in Ia Rniu village, Ia Broai commune) invited each other to the stream near their house to play.

While playing here, the two children unfortunately slipped and fell into the stream. The family found out about the incident and took them both to the rescue, but they couldn’t make it in time.

“The stream area where the incident happened in the dry season often dries up. Recent heavy rains have caused spring water levels to rise. Immediately after learning about the incident, the Commune People’s Committee visited, encouraged and supported the family 2 million VND in the immediate future, “said Mr. Bui Van Ngoc – Chairman of Ia Broai Commune People’s Committee.
