AFC Champions League Press Conference | Coach Kiatisak: ‘HAGL will try to get points’

This is a difficult game when we have to play against the host. Overall, all the teams participating in the AFC Champions League are strong. HAGL is the home team, so we are familiar with the competition conditions, the weather as well as the support of a large number of home fans, so it will be very difficult for us. However, Sydney FC will try to control the match to get the desired result.

Having played with the Vietnamese team made it easier for me to get used to all aspects when I returned to play against HAGL. We also played against many teams in Asia so we adapted quickly. The goal against Vietnam’s net was a bit lucky for me before and it helped Australia to win all 3 points. As I mentioned, HAGL has many national players so it will be difficult for Sydney FC. Hopefully, we have a little more luck to get all 3 points.

Coach Kim Sang Sik (Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors)

We try to get a win. This is a match representing 2 football backgrounds. The result affects not only us but also the image of 2 football backgrounds. The result with Sydney was undesirable when affected by many good factors such as the weather, the players were affected by Covid-19 so they could not come. But now I am used to the environment and food, so I have adapted well. Jeonbuk will play a good match to get an impressive result against Yokohama.
