The first app, My Metronome, was developed by Groove Vibes. This application forces users to register for a fee of $ 9.99 / month to allow them to close the application.
The developer of the My Metronome app, Eleftheriou said, “appears to have experimented with multiple methods to force users to pay. Otherwise, users won’t be able to turn off the My Metronome app.”

According to The Verge, another app that was found to force users to pay in a similar way is Music Paradise Play, developed by Music Paradise LLC. Notably, both Music Paradise LLC and Groove Vibes share the same registered location and both refer to the same name as Akadem GmbH.
When a user downloads Music Paradise Player and all the apps developed by Groove Vibes, they immediately open a window asking for a monthly subscription and try to prevent the user from shutting down the app.

Depending on the application, users will have to try a number of different ways to turn it off, such as clicking the X button on an advertisement window or a small text that is difficult to recognize.
Currently the My Metronome app has been removed from the App Store but Music Paradise Player is still available. Experts recommend that you make sure your device does not contain any of these applications if you or a loved one have accidentally downloaded them before.
