The director of the Department of Home Affairs of Thua Thien-Hue province said that officials from the Department had reported that people were still challenging to park their cars to block people’s doors.

On the afternoon of April 18, Mr. Bach Tran Dong – Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Thua Thien-Hue province said that this morning, the unit had a meeting to propose Mr. Ha Tien Dung, Deputy Head of the Department of Government Construction – Youth Affairs. The Department reported that people accused this officer of parking his car in front of the door of a house in Vicoland apartment building, Hue city and then had defiant words.

According to Mr. Dong, through the report, this officer admitted that while he was hot-tempered, there were uncontrollable words and actions and admitted mistakes. However, at first, the two sides exchanged words, which led to the above incident, not naturally this officer acted like that.

“In the immediate future, during this time, we have temporarily suspended the position of Deputy Head of the Government Construction Department of Mr. Dung for clarification.

I have sent a working group to verify the above incident and this afternoon will work directly with the local police where the incident happened,” Dong said.

The director of the Department of Home Affairs of Thua Thien-Hue province also said that the unit will work directly with the person who reflects and denounces Mr. Dung to grasp the matter. After that, depending on the level of violation to have a direction to handle.

“In any case, it is wrong for officials and civil servants to act and speak to the people like that. We will directly meet the people who have complained about it to apologize for the attitude of the agency’s officials and employees and will have the next course of action after the information is clear and specific”, Mr. Dong informed.
