On the afternoon of April 18, at the regular press conference of the first quarter of 2022 held by the People’s Committee of Da Nang City, Mr. Dang Nam Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport (Department of Transport and Communications) of the city confirmed that there was an incident. Banks collect vehicles from transportation companies to collect debts that social networks have spread over the past few days.

According to Mr. Dang Nam Son, the bank’s tightening of business buses does not affect the operation of the city’s subsidized bus routes.

The bus of Quang An Industry 1 Joint Stock Company was recovered by the bank.

Specifically, Da Nang currently has 11 subsidized bus routes. In which, there are 5 routes operating from the beginning of 2017, and 6 more routes will be put into operation in 2019.

In January 2022, the contract for the first 5 routes between Da Nang and Quang An Industrial Joint Stock Company 1 ended, the city directed the Department of Transport and Communications to prepare to re-bid these 5 routes.“, said Mr. Son.

Mr. Son added that in the past, the City Bank loaned to Quang An 1 Industrial Joint Stock Company to invest in the first 5 bus routes. Because the contract between Da Nang City and Quang An 1 has been terminated, the bank’s seizure of the car is a debt of the two units, not affecting the city’s subsidized buses.

Before that, the social network spread images of subsidized buses in Da Nang city operated by Quang An 1 Industry Joint Stock Company, which were pulled by many cranes to the yard to squeeze the debt.

The posted information and pictures attracted many comments from people and most expressed concern that this would affect the operation of subsidized buses in Da Nang city.
