Doubling sales, Honda City continues to hold the Japanese car company’s yellow board

With 1,744 vehicles sold in March 2022, sales of Honda City cars were 2.26 times higher than the previous month, accounting for 48.4% of total sales of the whole company.

On April 12, 2022, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) announced the retail sales of the motorcycle and automobile business in March 2022. The results are compiled by Honda Authorized Service and Sales Stores/Honda Automobile Distributors delivered to customers and according to HVN’s estimates.

As for the motorcycle business, 180,853 Honda motorbikes were delivered to Vietnamese customers in March 2022, an increase of 23.4% over the previous month and an increase of 20.5% over the same period last year.

In the fiscal year 2022, there were 2,052,007 Honda motorcycles delivered to customers, down 2.7% over the same period last year. Compared to the cumulative sales of the first 2 months of 2022, the cumulative sales of the first quarter of 2022, the difference in the number of motorbikes sold compared to the same period last year is less.

In which, in the digital car line, in March 2022, Wave Alpha is still the best-selling car with sales reaching 28,820 vehicles, accounting for 15.9% of HVN’s total motorcycle sales in March 2022.

In the scooter line, Honda Vision with 46,667 units sold is Honda’s best-selling scooter, accounting for 25.8% of HVN’s total motorcycle sales in March 2022.

Honda Winner X continues to be the most popular clutch model of the Japanese automaker with sales of 11,279 units, accounting for 6.2% of HVN’s total motorcycle sales in March 2022.

In the automotive segment, Honda City continues to be the best-selling model of the company in the month with 1,744 units sold

As for the auto business, in March 2022, there were 3,604 Honda cars sold to the market, up 96.9% over the previous month and 44.9% over the same period last year.

In the fiscal year 2022, there were 24,121 Honda cars to Vietnamese customers, down 6.9% over the same period last year. In which, Honda City with 1,744 cars sold to the market, accounting for 48.4% of total output. HVN’s car sales in March 2022 and increased 2.26 times the sales of this model in the previous month.
