“In 2022, all high school students at schools must register for the exam online on the Ministry’s Admissions Portal and the National Public Service Portal. Therefore, candidates no longer register for the paper-based exam. However, the group of free candidates still have to register for the exam on paper and send it at the receiving points according to regulations of the Departments of Education and Training to input data into the system.” – Dr. Hung said.

For the registration of exam subjects, around the end of April 2022, the system will open instructions for candidates to practice registering for the exam. After that, the system will delete all data of candidates who have registered for the trial so that candidates can officially register, which is expected on April 28, 29, and May 12.

And the consideration of high school graduation and organization of the exam are the same as last year. The exam questions mainly test the knowledge of grade 12. Currently, the Ministry has published illustrated exam questions to help candidates refer, review and prepare for the exam.

This year, all the wishes of the candidates registered at the schools regardless of any method will be registered on the system. After the high school exam results are available, schools must push the data to the common system for virtual filtering.

All the independent admissions of the schools are pushed to the general Virtual Filter system. And like in 2021, all candidates’ wishes are arranged in order from highest to lowest, in which wish 1 is the highest aspiration.

When virtual filtering, candidates will be selected with the highest aspirations of all aspirations, in all schools. In order to ensure the interests of candidates, the regulation stipulates that all schools when adjusting quotas for different methods must have a roadmap.

At this time, the Departments also basically completed the electronic school records. The ministry has asked the Departments to review all academic records to upload data to the system. This year, candidates applying for admission to school records do not need to send copies of transcripts to schools that already have data, schools only need to go to the system to get information about candidates’ scores to serve their work.
