Mass shooting in Pittsburgh leaves 2 dead, many injured

The shootings occurred at about 12:30 am on April 17 (local time, or the afternoon of April 18 in Vietnam time) in the East Allegheny neighborhood. The shooting stemmed from a large party with about 200 participants at a home rented through the short-term rental agency Airbnb, the city of Pittsburgh said in a news release. Airbnb said it has contacted the Pittsburgh Police Department and Mayor Ed Gainey’s office. According to Airbnb, tenants of the home have been banned from using the platform for life, and they “condemn the behavior that is alleged to have caused the gun violence.” The platform also said it was “looking at all legal options” against the person who booked the house.
