Thailand has given students booster shots of the vaccine from May

The condition is that they have had the second injection 4-6 months before.

This campaign is to strengthen the immunity of students before the start of the new school year. Each student will receive a dose of Pfizer’s vaccine at a dose of 15 micrograms.

For students with health problems, medical staff will be available to monitor immunizations and provide advice to parents. Vaccination will only be done with the consent of parents and students.

Thai health officials say a booster shot is needed to bolster the youth’s immunity, although many of those infected have had mild or no symptoms.
