The warehouse near the student dormitory of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education is on fire

At about 1am this morning on April 18, a big fire started from a warehouse on Lac Long Quan Street, Ward 5, District 11, HCMC. The fire broke out fiercely, burning red, burning rapidly, and the smoke column was tens of meters high.

When the fire was detected, big firepeople around tried but could not put out the fire on the spot.

Hundreds of students in the remote dormitory of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education hurriedly fled in the night.

After receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting teams of the District 11 Police Department and the Area 1 Fire and Rescue Police Teams of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PC07) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department and other units were present to deploy the squad. , the water hose sprayed on the fire.

According to Youth, Firefighters deployed many noses to approach the fire and sprayed water. Due to the large fire, the firefighting work encountered many difficulties, the fire spread to the student dormitory of the University of Pedagogy of Ho Chi Minh City next door.

It took several hours for the fire to be extinguished. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any injuries.

Currently, the functional forces of District 11 and PC07 are still coordinating to examine the scene, investigate the cause of the fire as well as estimate the damage.
