In the last two years, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the Ministry had to organize 2 rounds of high school graduation exams in 1 year, in which the 2nd round of exams was for candidates who could not take the 1st exam due to the influence of the government. During the Covid-19 epidemic, including candidates in places that are locked down, or implementing social isolation, and contestants are F0, F1, F2 according to the classification of the health industry.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, based on the actual developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, at the request of the chairpersons of the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities, the Ministry will consider to organize an additional exam for the candidates. Candidates cannot take the exam at the said time.

In 2021, despite organizing 2 rounds of high school graduation exams, but in both exams, the Ministry of Education and Training will consider special conditions for candidates (TS) who are in the category of F0, F1, F2 or are in places where social distancing is implemented. Association in accordance with Directive 16 of the Prime Minister and the place that is blocked and isolated to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic at the request of the health sector.

However, the problem is that now everything is “the new normal”, the way to prevent diseases and treat F0, F1, F2 is completely different from last year, should we organize 2? exam and special F0?

Some educational institutions believe that two exams should not be held. The reason is that according to the latest document of the Ministry of Health, F1 has no symptoms nor medical isolation as before, so F1 candidates without symptoms can still take the graduation exam normally.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu – Rector of Hanoi Medical University stated: “The epidemic is gradually under control; we are in a new normal, have a different way of dealing with the epidemic and all are open.

With this trend, if there is no spike, the situation will be even better in June and July. In addition to the contingency plan for handling if the epidemic is unfavorable and there is a sudden change, the Ministry should have a policy of organizing the high school graduation exam in the spirit of the new normal, not divided into 2-3 batches.

The exam takes place in only 2 days, so it is necessary to organize it neatly, preferably only 1 round and focus on solving problems after the exam, avoid organizing many times leading to prolonged admission that affects and fatigues the candidates. schools and students”.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said: “If candidate F0 is considered a patient, he or she will be considered special for graduating from high school according to the exam regulations”.

In the case of candidate F0, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung, Rector of Lomonosov School (Hanoi) suggested that the second exam should be held because candidates need test scores to be admitted to some universities and colleges.

Some other experts said that in addition to the regulations allowing students to graduate from high school with F0 during the exam period, they should also create conditions for them to take the exam on a voluntary basis.

For example, candidate F0 will arrange the same exam, but in a separate area, the test sites plan to prepare enough facilities to hold the exam, arrange 2 separate test areas for normal candidates. and candidate F0.

Along with that, the test scores will conduct a stream of candidates entering the area for F0 through the side gate. Schools send candidates information so that each candidate must clearly identify the way from home to the exam room, from the exam room to home.

With the number of F0 sharply reduced and few symptoms like today, the high school graduation exam can also be organized in the same way to meet the needs of candidates to the fullest.
