A 12-second video filmed by students, which has been circulating on social media, shows a teacher repeatedly slapping and hitting students’ heads and faces and shouting “take it off, take it off, break it!”.
The incident was later determined to take place in the Informatics class on April 13 at Phuoc Dong Secondary School, Go Dau district. On April 18, the management board of Phuoc Dong Secondary School held a meeting and gave a form of discipline and reprimand for teachers who beat students.

In the report, the teacher said that, during class, some students “deliberately pry” the buttons on the keyboard. “When I went down, I saw that the computer keyboard had been pry, open circuit,” the teacher wrote.
The teacher said he only hit his hands, not his head. The images in the video show, students put their hands above their heads, to their faces to block the blow.
The teacher apologized to the students, parents and school administrators for his lack of restraint.
