From a young age, Trang Nhi nurtured her dream of studying abroad in the US. The female student realized that the US is the country with the most developed economy and education in the world. Moreover, this country also offers many “terrible” scholarships to international students. Therefore, Trang Nhi has “applyed” to 18 universities in the US and 1 school in the Netherlands.

Davidson College – the school that awards 100% full scholarships to Trang Nhi is one of the best universities in the South of America. The school is ranked 13th in the National Liberal Arts Colleges (National Liberal Arts Colleges), 6th in the US for the bachelor’s education system. The acceptance rate of international students is about 6%, but in that, the number of Vietnamese students who are admitted to Davidson College is very small. Currently, the whole school has only 7 Vietnamese students.

A female student in Hanoi has been preparing documents to study abroad since she entered high school. When she was in grade 10, Trang Nhi went to learn more English and other academic knowledge to get certificates. By the 11th grade, I achieved IELTS 8.0, SAT 1510/1600 points, opening the opportunity to apply to the top universities in the US.

Becoming a General Ambassador, representing students of the whole school and managing more than 600 12th grade students makes Trang Nhi sometimes under pressure. My task is to organize a large playground for seniors to keep their good memories.

Trang Nhi excitedly talked about the project: “We have sold more than 100 hats and scarves made from Cham fabric, earning nearly 30 million VND. Customers are relatives, classmates and guests who naturally know about the project. Through posts on fanpage, we also ship (delivery) ourselves and explain to customers the benefits of using indigo fabric. The money from the sale of hats and scarves is donated to the SOS Orphanage Village for the purpose. help those in need”.

“The project has been highly appreciated by Davidson College. There are many people who choose projects such as: Picking up trash, sorting waste, etc. Those are all good things but too many people have done them. So, I I think I need to go in a more creative and unique direction. Our project is both aimed at the environment and promoting ethnic minority identities,” emphasized the female student.

The major that Trang Nhi studied at Davidson College was Environmental Science. I realize that the living environment is a hot issue globally, need to join hands to take practical actions to protect.
