The car overturned after a continuous car crash on the Ho Chi Minh City highway

A representative of Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E) – the operator and manager of the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway (HLD) said that the accident of 3 cars happened at 12:05 on April 19, at the route of km 9+00/PT of the HLD expressway, the section through Thu Duc city (HCMC).

All 3 cars include 2 5-seat cars BKS 72A-25273 and 72L-1925 and 16-seat cars BKS 86A-00231 circulating in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai.

When arriving at the above location, there was a continuous accident, in which, the 5-seat car BKS 72L-1925 flipped upside down on the emergency lane.

All three vehicles were badly damaged, blocking the outer lane and the emergency lane, obstructing traffic. Fortunately, the accident did not cause harm to anyone.

The VEC E side has contacted functional units to handle, divide and regulate traffic.

The cause of the accident is being clarified.
