The whole country added 13,500 cases of Covid-19

According to the Ministry of Health, in 60 provinces and cities, there are 10,231 cases in the community. Some provinces and cities with high cases include: Hanoi (1,022), Phu Tho (838), Yen Bai (605), Quang Ninh (584), Nghe An (571), Ho Chi Minh City (557), Vinh Phuc (554), Hai Duong (531).

The remaining cases are distributed in Bac Kan (483), Dak Lak (478), Tuyen Quang (457), Thai Nguyen (432), Lao Cai (411), Bac Giang (343), Cao Bang (282). Gia Lai (281), Thai Binh (268), Bac Ninh (244), Quang Binh (231), Hung Yen (231), Nam Dinh (230), Hoa Binh (220), Ha Giang (219), Da Nang (206), Ninh Binh (191), Ba Ria – Vung Tau (190), Son La (190), Quang Nam (189), Dien Bien (179), Ha Tinh (176), Lai Chau (172), West Ninh (168), Lang Son (166), Hai Phong (146), Ha Nam (135), Quang Tri (131), Quang Ngai (123), Binh Dinh (123), Ca Mau (121), Dak Nong ( 115), Vinh Long (111)…

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has 10,489,319 infections, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories. In the fourth outbreak, the number of domestic infections was 10,481,571 cases, of which 9,062,877 patients were declared cured. Some localities with high cases in this epidemic are Hanoi (1,535,789), Ho Chi Minh City (607,520), Nghe An (477,183), Binh Duong (382,886), Bac Giang (380,933).

Regarding treatment, during the day, 124,630 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 9,065,694 cases. The number of patients who are breathing oxygen is 1,010 cases.

On April 19, the whole country had 18 deaths in: Dak Lak (4), Kien Giang (3), Dong Nai (2), An Giang (1), Bac Kan (1), Bac Lieu (1), Ben Tre (1), Ha Nam (1), Hanoi (1), Lao Cai (1), Quang Ninh (1), Vinh Long (1).

The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam so far is 42,975, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths in our country ranks 24 out of 227 territories. Compared to Asia, the total number of deaths ranked 6/49 (3rd in ASEAN).

Regarding testing, from April 27, 2021 to now, our country has carried out 39,420,668 test samples, equivalent to 8,5711,086 turns of people, an increase of 4,862 samples compared to the previous day.

Regarding vaccination, on April 18, 178,789 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 209.816,927 doses.

In which, the number of injection doses for people 18 years and older is 192,527,470 doses. The number of doses for children from 12 to 17 years old is 17,250,513 doses. The number of doses for children from 5-11 years old is 38,944 doses (1st dose).
