Along with other currently operating undersea fiber optic cables, Viettel’s ADC cable route is expected to add 18Tbps to Viettel’s total international connection capacity when it is put into operation, contributing to providing a large amount of Internet connection. high-speed connection from Vietnam to international.

The ADC cable route will also contribute to the deployment of connectivity applications Internet international requirements for high speed such as: Internet of Things (IoT), automation, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (AR/VR); at the same time, ensuring safety, network redundancy, and quality assurance of Internet services and other international connection services of Viettel.

It is known that Viettel is the only Vietnamese member to invest in this ADC undersea fiber optic cable. The ADC landing station in Quy Nhon is also the third undersea cable station Viettel owns exclusively.

ADC connects countries in the Asia-Pacific region such as: Singapore – Japan – Hong Kong – China – Philippines – Vietnam – Thailand.

Thus, up to now, 5 submarine cable projects that Viettel has invested in include: AAE-1 (landing station located in Vung Tau), TGN-IA (landing station located in Vung Tau), APG (accessing station located in Vung Tau), ashore located in Da Nang), AAG (landing station located in Vung Tau) and ADC (landing station located in Quy Nhon).
