Witness: ‘No sign of Amber Heard being abused’

The trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continued on April 18 (local time), in which witnesses appeared to talk about the fight between the star couple in March 2015 in Australia.

During the trial, David Kipper – who went to his home to treat Johnny Depp when he broke the tip of his middle finger – testified through a video recorded earlier. The doctor said he received a call about the actor’s injury and was present as quickly as possible. He said to clean the wound and asked the staff of the star couple to find the broken fingertip, which fell in the kitchen. Kipper said the scene of the incident had a lot of blood and broken glass. However, he did not find Heard injured. The actress also did not seek medical attention from a doctor.

Nurse Debbie Lloyd – David Kipper’s assistant – said Depp’s chef found the actor’s fingertips in the kitchen. They then took him to the emergency room and successfully reconnected. Depp hires Kipper and Lloyd to help him rehab. The two confirmed that they had never seen the actor abuse Heard during the process of working with the star couple.

According to Independent, Sean Bett – Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s security officer – also came to the court to testify. He recounted what he witnessed in the fight that led to the star couple deciding to break up. At that time, Bett rushed to the penthouse after hearing Heard’s screams. He helped Depp pack his things and get out of the house. Batt said he didn’t see any signs of injury.

In court, Bett also talked about Depp and Heard’s troubled relationship before the fight. At first, the star couple was very happy, but things gradually turned bad. The two often quarreled, especially when Heard was drinking. Bett said she once advised Heard to think about breaking up: “This can’t go on. One day, you two could kill each other or go to jail.”

After years of delay, in April, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finally went to court in Fairfax County, Virginia (USA) to argue the lawsuit between the two. The actor sued his ex-wife for $50 million for defamation. Amber Heard later sued him for $100 million for the same crime.

After the first days of confrontation, Amber Heard’s side first accused Depp of crime sexual assault. In the coming trials, many famous people like James Franco, Elon Musk, Paul Bettany will testify for both sides. The trial, which is expected to last about six weeks, could be the end of the troubled relationship between the Hollywood star couple.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been dating since filming together The Rum Diary (2011), got married in February 2015. Three months after the wedding, Heard filed a lawsuit in court asking for the right to ban Johnny from approaching and accusing him of verbally and physically abusive violence against her. Depp countered that he was the one being abused by his wife. The two sides argued, badmouthing each other for months before it was completed divorce 2016.
