500 billion abandoned hotel on ‘golden’ land in the heart of Thanh Hoa city
Lam Kinh hotel is considered the second largest in Thanh Hoa city, located on the “golden land” that has been abandoned until now, surprising many people.
Lam Kinh Hotel belongs to the commercial and service complex of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, started construction at the end of August 2009 on an area of 1.8ha, in Dong Huong ward, Thanh Hoa city.
The project had a total investment of over 500 billion VND, reached 4-star standard and was considered the most VIP in Thanh Hoa at that time with an 11-storey, wavy 4-star standard building with 222 modern rooms; Conference room with a capacity of 600 seats. After 10 years of operation, in 2020, the hotel suddenly stopped operating. Currently, many items around the hotel campus are degraded, severely damaged, broken dry trees blocking the entrance to the lobby, some overhead items show signs of decay…
