Fulham Club returns to the Premier League

In the morning of April 20, Fulham Club won the right to return to the Premier League 2022/2023 4 rounds early after winning against Preston North End with a score of 3-0. Fulham’s goals in this match were scored by Mitrovic (double) and Carvalho.

This result helps Fulham to top the English First Division standings with 86 points after 42 matches, 9 points ahead of second team AFC Bournemouth and 13 points ahead of third team Huddersfield Town. Thus, Fulham immediately returned to the English Premier League after only one season playing in the English First Division. Last season, they were relegated after finishing the season in 18th place with 28 points after 38 rounds.

Teams ranked from 3rd to 6th will play play-offs to compete for the remaining tickets.
