Launching the Oraichain Hackathon 2022 Programming Contest
For the first time, the blockchain technology playground was organized to promote young people to participate in digital transformation and develop a technology-based digital economy.
On April 19, the Oraichain Hackathon 2022 contest, organized by the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development, in collaboration with Oraichain Labs, officially kicked off. This is the first time the contest has been organized, targeting union members and young people across the country who are passionate about programming and have ideas for applying blockchain technology. The contest aims to promote the movement of creation, application and development of new scientific and technological achievements, and at the same time aims to build quality human resources in this field.
Participating in the contest, candidates have the opportunity to exchange and learn to perfect their professional skills with good engineers and experts in the field of blockchain – the technology leading the industrial revolution 4.0.
Dao Thanh Chung, Director of Oraichain Labs Joint Stock Company, said that the Oraichain blockchain is a pioneering blockchain platform in providing a safe and secure infrastructure for decentralized applications (dApps) through through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into smart contracts. This is a project that has been cherished for 3 years by BKC Labs at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, believing in the breakthrough of blockchain technology for the development of new generations of web applications (Web 3.0). digital economy through processing scaling, scaling and multi-chain linkage, Oraichain and the ecosystem in Oraichain.
Coming to the competition, the teams will develop decentralized applications (dApps) on the Oraichain blockchain, using the CosmWasm module and the Oraichain ecosystem. Candidates will submit registration and project submission to the program. The 8 best projects will be selected to participate in the Final Round, scheduled to be held in June in Hanoi. The contest also took place during the Hackathon Day – where the teams had 24 hours to work in a pre-arranged space to come up with a finished product and present it to the Jury.
The project that wins the first prize will receive 100 million VND, the second prize 60 million VND, the third prize 40 million VND and 2 Consolation prizes, each worth 10 million VND. The most favorite product through online voting also received 10 million VND in cash.
