Request Can Gio district to review more than 50 projects behind schedule

According to the appraisal results of the land use plan in 2022 of Can Gio district, in 2022, Can Gio district registered 144 works and projects to be implemented in the land use plan in 2021. Of which, there are 99 projects. transition from the previous year (of which there are 47 projects in the period 2015-2019) and 7 newly registered projects, there are 102 projects with approved land use plans to be implemented in the year.

However, according to the report of Can Gio district, in 2021, no projects have been completed. Up to now, this locality has 50 projects over 3 years but the investor has not implemented.

For these projects, Can Gio district proposes to include the land use plan in 2022. According to the City Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Article 49 of the Land Law stipulates that the area recorded in the land use plan is every day. If the year of the district level has been announced to be recovered for project implementation or the land use purpose must be changed, but after 3 years there is no decision on land recovery or permission to change the land use purpose, the competent agency shall the right to amend, cancel and to announce such adjustment or cancellation.

Therefore, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City believes that, for projects that have registered their land use plans for more than 3 years (from 2019 and earlier) but have not yet implemented, Can Gio district continues to The proposal to register in the land use plan in 2022 is unfounded.

For these delayed projects, the Department also suggested that Can Gio district clearly define the progress, reasons for delay, investment plan and carry out procedures in the coming time. At the same time determine in 2022 whether to complete the procedures for deciding on land acquisition, allocation, and change of land use purpose for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to report to the City.

Regarding the need to register new projects, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that the results of the previous period in the land use plan of Can Gio district, the number of projects achieved was very low compared to the plan.
