On the morning of April 20, Quang Nam Provincial Police said they were investigating to clarify the cause of death of a man whose body was discovered in the Go Tre River.

According to initial information, around 8:15 a.m. on the same day, people discovered a body floating on the Go Tre river, the section that flows to the Ban Thach river, Thach Tan village, Tam Thang commune, Tam Ky city.
Through observation, the body is a relatively young male, legs and hands are tied. Immediately upon discovery, people used boats to approach, bring the body to the shore and report it to the police.
Currently, professional units of Quang Nam Provincial Police are coordinating with Tam Ky City Police to conduct an autopsy to investigate and clarify the cause.
At 10 a.m. this morning, the victim’s identity was still unknown.
