On the afternoon of April 20, in response to the PV of Labor Newspaper, Mr. Nham Quang Van, Captain of the 116 Thai Binh Free Waterway Rescue Team, said that the team members had just coordinated with the family to find the man’s body. The young man jumping from the Lac Quan bridge committed suicide 3 days ago.
The identity of the victim was identified as Mr. BVH (25 years old, residing in Hai Trung commune, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province).

Sources said that Mr. H. works as a builder. On April 17, Mr. H went to celebrate the death anniversary, on the way back, to the middle of Lac Quan bridge (connecting Truc commune, Truc Ninh district with Xuan Truong district across Ninh Co river), Mr. H left his phone, motorbike on the bridge, grabbed a backpack and jumped into the river.
According to Thanh Nien newspaper, immediately after the incident, friends of Mr. H. contacted the victim’s family to search. This person’s friends said that the backpack contained the memorabilia of Mr. H. with his lover.
According to relatives, the victim jumped off the bridge because he was sad about a love story. However, in the previous days, relatives did not see that Mr. H. showed any abnormality.
The victim’s body has been handed over to the family for burial.
