According to the Tennessean, this woman was going to Hickman County, Kentucky, USA to visit her brother last Sunday when ex-boyfriend Johnathon Smith (31 years old), suddenly appeared and forced her into the car.

Lt Mike Dodo of the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office said he began monitoring them while they were arguing inside the car.

The girl asked him to put her down but this guy insisted on saying no. “Smith then threatened to kill her with a screwdriver and said that if he can’t have her, no one can,” he said.

Smith continued to drive, then stopped at Twice Daily gas station around 1 pm and entered with the girl. This guy is very careful so that no one finds out about the incident.

According to information from the police, the victim secretly made a motion to call for help with the salesman. She brought her right hand forward, slowly grasped her thumb into the palm of her hand, and folded the remaining 4 fingers to cover the thumb. The employee immediately repeated the movement and received a nod of approval.

Witness Eric Streeval also said that when the woman entered the store and saw him, she carefully uttered the word “help”.

Mr. Dodo said staff called 911 and made an excuse to stop Smith, but he soon “sniffed” and left immediately with the girl.
