The past of the spy Loid Forger resembles the villain in My Hero Academia
The similarities between characters in different anime series are normal. Many viewers have realized that the past of the agent Loid Forger in the anime that is being noticed this spring is Spy X Family and the leader of the alliance of villains in My Hero Academia have uncanny similarities.
In Spy X Family, when Anya was kidnapped and the news reached Loid, he wasted no time in rescuing her. Loid’s past in Spy X Family is very similar to Shigaraki Tomura’s in My Hero Academia. After destroying his family and home, Shigaraki was left behind and roamed the streets like Loid. He also had to deal with passersby who realized he was in trouble but ignored it. Shigaraki’s childhood is similar to Loid’s, but what’s even more interesting is that these experiences have led the two to change in two different directions.
Immediately after rescuing Anya from her captors, Loid begins to blame himself for involving a child in espionage activities. The whole reason he became a spy was so he could help create a world where children wouldn’t have to cry anymore. He hates his own loneliness so much that he vows to help other children who don’t have to go through the same thing.
Putting Anya in such a dangerous situation was the complete opposite of what Loid wanted. This incident made him want to take her back to the orphanage. Anya immediately understood her father’s reasons but she decided to stick with Loid and didn’t want to go back to the orphanage anymore.
Meanwhile, Shigaraki was thinking in the opposite direction. His frustration with those around him who abandoned him was so great that it made Shigaraki determined to destroy everything. He was quickly rescued by All For One, and made Shigaraki the symbol of evil as it is today.
