Tinder launches Safety Center in Vietnam

Tinder has announced the launch of the Safety Center in Vietnamese on its app in Vietnam. Built by Tinder’s Trust & Safety team, this practical, comprehensive feature will make it easy for members to access tools that match their status when using the platform.

As a growing part of the app, the content in the Safety Center will be continuously reviewed and updated as needed. Topics will include the latest guide to safe dating and provide educational resources – as well as a list of local NGOs and hotlines that offer support – such as The ICS Center for the LGBTI+ Community, the Tomorrow Hotline, and the Center for Research & Scientific Application on Gender – Family – Women and Adolescents (CSAGA).

“Every day, millions of members trust us to refer them to new people, and we’re committed to building secure features to meet the needs of today’s online dating community,” Ms. Papri Dev – Communications Director at Tinder Asia Pacific said.

The goal of each local Safety Center is to centralize safety control-related resources and to provide means of support to connect members in need with relevant professionals. Members can easily access the Safety Center through the main menu of the app and whenever they chat with potential matches.

The launch of Safety Center in Vietnam builds on Tinder’s commitment to making the platform a safe and trusted space for all involved.
