VBA organizes 3×3 basketball tournament for the first time

April 19, 2022, VBA announced the plan to organize the Vietnam Professional 3×3 Basketball Tournament (VBA 3×3) in 2022 taking place at the end of April and the beginning of May this year.

VBA 3×3 will compete in 2 stages (Stop) and one final round (Grand finals) at the following scheduled times and locations:

– Stage 1: On April 30, 2022 and May 1, 2022 in Da Nang City.

– Stage 2: On May 7, 2022 & May 8, 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City.

– Daily time: 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. VBA 3×3 will include 2 competitions: Vietnam Professional Basketball 3×3 – VBA 3×3 Pro and

Basketball 3×3 U20 Clubs VBA – VBA 3×3 U20. In there:

– Vietnam Professional Basketball 3×3 – VBA 3×3 Pro is expected to have from 08-12 participating teams including 7 VBA clubs: Hanoi Buffaloes, Thang Long Warriors, Danang Dragons, Nha Trang Dolphins, Saigon Heat, Ho Chi Minh City Wings, Cantho Catfish and guest teams. In particular, there was the presence of the National Team rubbing together to prepare for the journey to change the color of medals at the 31st SEA Games.

– The 3×3 U20 Basketball Tournament for VBA clubs includes young athletes born in 2002 or later of the clubs competing. It is expected that there will be 8 participating teams including 7 VBA clubs: Hanoi Buffaloes, Thang Long Warriors, Danang Dragons, Nha Trang Dolphins, Saigon Heat, Ho Chi Minh City Wings and Cantho Catfish and 1 guest team.

– Both events will be played on the same day at each stage. All detailed information about competition venue, format and prizes will be updated by VBA as soon as possible.
