Very strange 4-eyed turtle lost in the garden of a people’s house in Hue
On the afternoon of April 20, information from the Hue City Forest Protection Department said that the unit had just received a rare 4-eyed turtle, voluntarily handed over by people in Kim Long ward (Hue) during the day.

This individual turtle with 4 extremely strange eyes was discovered by Mr. PCT (resident in Kim Long ward) when he entered his garden. After that, this resident contacted the hotline of the TT-Hue Provincial Forest Protection Department to find out about the handover procedure, with the desire to release the animal into the natural environment.

Through inspection by the forest rangers, the above-mentioned 4-eyed turtle has the scientific name Sacalia quadriocellata, weight 0.3kg, good health, belongs to group IIB endangered and rare forest animals.
The Hue City Forest Protection Department is currently taking care of and preparing the procedures to release the turtles into the natural environment.
