Lexus LX 600 launched in Vietnam, the highest price is 9.2 billion VND

April 19, Lexus Vietnam model launch LX 600 New generation, imported from Japan. The car will be sold from the beginning of May with three versions: Urban – 7 seats, priced at 8.1 billion, F Sport – 5 seats 8.35 billion and VIP – 4 seats with business class rear seats, priced at 9.21 billions dong.

Previously, private companies in the Middle East often configured two rows of seats for the LX 570 (third generation) with the rear row for owners with amenities and high-end equipment. These models are also imported to Vietnam through unofficial import routes. The addition of a special 4-seat configuration shows that Lexus wants to declare war on private companies. On the commercial side, this is a predictable move for Lexus when rivals such as Mercedes GLS or BMW X7 also have this option, aimed at successful owners.

The LX 600 is the fourth generation of its flagship SUV line. The car is like a high-end version and is more comfortable than the model Land Cruiser when the two share the same GA-F chassis, the interior design has many similarities.

The L-Finesse design language still dominates the shape of the Lexus LX 600, but the angular, rebelliousness is more restrained compared to the old generation (LX 570). Throughout 4 generations, the LX retains the 2,850 mm wheelbase. While the chassis and suspension are improved.

Lexus used a turbocharged engine for the first time on the LX. All three versions of the LX 600 are fitted with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 409 hp at 5,200 rpm and 650 Nm of torque at 2,000-3,600 rpm. 10-speed automatic transmission, two-wheel drive with the option of two fast or slow bridges, 6 driving modes.

Safety assist technologies on the Lexus LX 600 such as terrain control system, active cruise control, support for horizontal / descending departure, pre-collision safety system, deviation warning / tracking lane… The car has a 360-degree camera, 12 airbags in the VIP version and 10 on the other two versions.

LX 600 competes in the segment Large luxury SUV. Lexus models are more expensive than two German rivals, including BMW X7 (4,549-6,889 billion VND), Mercedes GLS (from VND 4,999 billion) and lower than the British model, Land Rover Range Rover (7,895-10,760 billion VND).
