Suzuki Across was first introduced to the market in July 2020. Across is built under a new partnership agreement between Suzuki and Toyota. The vehicle is built on the basis of the Toyota RAV4 – Fleet News’ award-winning vehicle.
After about 2 years, this model was launched with an upgraded version in the European market with many new improvements. The Suzuki Across 2022 plug-in hybrid model has changes with an upgrade to the charging capacity of the hybrid device, plus a number of specification changes.

Suzuki Across continues to use the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the Toyota RAV4 Prime. This powertrain includes a 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine and 2 electric motors, producing a total capacity of 302 horsepower. Comes with it is a CVT continuously variable transmission.
Suzuki said, the car This can accelerate from 0-62km in 6 seconds. It is Suzuki’s largest capacity, most efficient and most expensive vehicle to date.

Just like the RAV4, the Across drivetrain features an independent rear electric motor that can vary the torque sent to the front and rear axles between 100:0 and 20:80, respectively. Suzuki says this gives Across better stability on slippery surfaces, as well as improving the SUV’s cornering ability.
The 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is located below the floor, helping the car to run 75km without using a gasoline engine. This C-sized SUV has extremely low fuel consumption, only 1 liter / 100km.

When Across is plugged into a 32A power source, the charging time is halved, which means that the 18.1kWh battery can be fully charged in about 2h45 minutes, down sharply from about 5h30 minutes before fully charged. When connected to a public charging point or charging at home with a 16A power source, it will take about 5 hours to fully recharge the battery, 36 minutes less than before.

Basically, Across is an improved version of Toyota RAV4. However, the front and rear bumpers of the car are slightly different.
On the outside, the car has a wide grille with honeycomb mesh and air vents with integrated fog lights. Alloy rims have a diameter of 19 inches with 5 double spokes with 2 sports colors. The design of the side and rear of the Suzuki Across 2022 is almost identical to the Toyota RAV4.
